Aviation Safety Officer (or Assistant Aviation Safety Officer)

Key Responsibilities

Manage and analyse safety reports, identifying trends and risks Lead safety investigations (including MEDA and operational occurrences) Maintain and update safety procedures and documentation Liaise with regulatory bodies (CAA/MAA) Support and deliver safety promotion initiatives Contribute to safety-related projects

Ideal Candidate

Experience in aviation engineering or safety Knowledge of CAA/MAA regulations Understanding of SMS/QMS Strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and across teams

Qualifications

HNC or equivalent in a relevant field, or industry experience Safety training or investigation qualifications (desirable)

Additional Requirements

Eligible for DBS/BPSS/SC clearance Valid passport and driving licence Right to work in the UK
