Purpose of the Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to be responsible for developing our customer portfolio and driving the expansion of our current customer base within the Aviation sector. Working directly with manufacturing partners, you will build on a continuing process of expansion and achievement, with the business objective of becoming the leading industry player in the UK, whilst developing our reputation and standing in the marketplace for providing high-quality customer service. This is an exciting and highly visible role which reports directly to the Head of Aviation Sales for the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities:



Actively promote and sell the complete airport products portfolio. Seek out, establish, and maintain productive and close working relationships with key decision-makers in the aviation support sector. Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers including airlines, handling agents, airport service providers, MROs, and end users. Achieve targets for capital sales, equipment hire, service agreements, and repair/refurbishment contracts. Develop a solutions-driven approach that positively impacts the customer experience. Create long-term sustainable strategies for meeting customer needs in collaboration with other department managers. Resolve customer queries in the field in liaison with other departments. Work cross-functionally on projects being explored or implemented. Undertake any other duties consistent with the purpose of this role or to support the needs of the business.

Proven new business development sales experience. Proven ability to succeed in a competitive marketplace. Excellent interpersonal skills to engage at all levels. Strong presentation and communication skills using IT as appropriate. A good understanding of technical equipment. Awareness of technology for future development. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload. Excellent commercial skills. Experience with large organisation or local authority tender processes. Self-motivated, industrious, and effective at building successful customer relationships with a willingness to go the extra mile. Tenacious with the ability to see projects through to completion. Critical Knowledge Required:



A solid understanding and knowledge of: Different GSE products and their uses. Handling sensitive commercial information. Excellent, advanced Excel skills. Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications - Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications and Experience Required:



Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales role.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 45,000.00-60,000.00 per year
