Your Role
-------------
This role ensures that products are processed and handled correctly throughout the hangar stores environment utilising MHE, manual handling and the appropriate computer systems
to achieve and fulfil customer requirements efficiently, accurately, safely and in line with all regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities
-------------------------
Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
Carry out assigned tasks including: picking, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, housekeeping, MHE duties and the processing of returns
Packing and shipping as appropriate (according to training and task specific addendum) or working towards competence in this area
Goods receiving inspection as appropriate (according to training and task specific addendum) or working towards competence in this area
Carry out assigned administrative tasks including but not limited to: allocation of orders and the booking in and out of stock
Operate Warehouse Management Systems (Corridor) in accordance with task based work instructions and SOP's and carry out other assigned computer based tasks as required
Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/ WI and SSow
Your Skills and Experiences
-------------------------------
Experience of working in Aviation Parts environment desirable or transferable experience of working in high quality or compliance environment
Experience of working in time critical environments
Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, packing & loading
Working knowledge of computerised inventory procedures to include experience in material services, inventory control.
PC literate
Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, packing & loading
Customer service experience
Corridor experience preferred, or other general ERP experience
Full Driving licence is essential & Forklift licence desired, (training will be provided)
Medical fitness to hold Airside Drivers Permit, driving company vehicles and operating lifting equipment (MHE)
Suitably fit for manual lifting
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Used to working in a fast paced, time critical environment
Reliable, trustworthy and committed to attending work on time
Communication skills - written and verbal
Accuracy & attention to detail, methodical and organised
Flexibility to task and hours
