Morson Talent is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Avionic Fitter to support ongoing maintenance, modification, and repair activities on the C130 aircraft platform. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale, high-profile defence projects in collaboration with key industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft electrical and avionic systems in accordance with work card instructions and controlled technical documentation.
Ensure all tasks meet the required quality standards and are completed within the designated timescales.
Actively support and promote continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of a recognised Approved Aeronautical Engineering Apprenticeship (Electrical/Avionic) or a relevant higher education qualification.
Demonstrated experience within an aircraft maintenance environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across all site functions.
A proactive, flexible attitude with a commitment to achieving business targets and continuous improvement.
High attention to detail and self-motivated work ethic.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and a basic understanding of COSHH requirements.
C130 aircraft experience is preferred.
