Overview

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737 NG & Max series aircraft at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

We are the leading provider of aircraft maintenance and engineering services in Scotland. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an Avionic Workshop Shift Supervisor to join the team.

Duties

Supervise & organise manpower and planning Organise and evaluate repairs Allocation and prioritisation of tasks and management of technical jobs Ordering & progressing spares Ensuring documentation is completed correctly in accordance with maintenance and company procedures Ensuring that company regulations and policies are enforced Ensuring the work area and environment are kept clean and tidy at all times Developing skills of all staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics Assist with & carry out Avionic repairs Any additional tasks allocated by management

Skills

Avionic repair experience essential Experience of inspecting components & compiling work packs desirable but not essential Must have or be willing to work towards gaining company CRS approval Previous supervisory experience desirable but not essential Must be flexible, including availability to work occasional night shift and overtime as and when required
