About the Role:




The AWS Alliance Sales Director has overall responsibility for the growth of the Alliance revenue xLoS and all related metrics, including wins/pipeline, team development, performance and budget. They also have the responsibility to manage, maintain, & grow the relationship with strategic intent and focus on market penetration, revenue growth, and solution identification.


The Sales Director role provides direction and oversight of the Alliance, working closely with the UK Alliance Partner Leader and the wider Alliance ecosystem.

What your days will look like:



Providing Strategic Leadership & Planning to execute, and manage the AWS Alliance strategy and business plan, focusing on market penetration, revenue growth, and strategic alignment with firm goals. Managing, building and maintaining key relationships with AWS Alliance leadership and internal stakeholders, acting as the strategic point of contact and advisor to firm leadership.


Developing and implementing the Go-to-Market plans in collaboration with cross-sector teams, consistently communicate the Alliance value proposition, and identify new synergies to expand the program across the UK firm.
Leading annual and ongoing joint planning sessions, ensure partner status and certifications are maintained, and drive continuous alignment between the Alliance and firm initiatives

This role is for you if:



You have a proven track record in the creation and execution of Go to Market (GTM) plans (ideally as part of a Tech Alliances program)
You have Demonstrable strong communication and leadership skills to lead and develop teams
Background of working in complex, matrix organisations would be helpful, along with evidence of managing varied stakeholder groups.
You have the ability to motivate and inspire teams through change and ambiguity.
You have a sound business and commercial understanding of Hyperscalers (preferably AWS) as well as being risk aware.
You can demonstrate strong influencing, negotiating and facilitation skills.
A mind-set which demonstrates a comfort with testing, learning and optimising.
You have strong people management and coaching skills.
