We are urgently looking for an experienced

AWS Architect

on a

contract

basis (FTC, Hybrid -

Edinburgh

) to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate will work directly with customers to understand business objectives, leverage deep AWS expertise to build robust architectures, and guide organizations through digital transformation. This role requires strong technical proficiency in cloud computing and networking, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Atleast 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud environments Architect, build, and deploy end-to-end AWS cloud solutions ensuring scalability, security, high availability, and cost optimization. Collaborate closely with customers to gather requirements, understand business goals, and translate them into effective cloud architectures. Apply deep knowledge of AWS services--including AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, VPC, AWS Cloud WAN, and AWS Security Hub--to craft best-practice solutions. Configure and optimize AWS networking components and hybrid connectivity with strong expertise in network architectures. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across cloud, networking, and security domains. Present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. Support organizations in migrating on-premises workloads to AWS, enabling cloud adoption and modernization initiatives. Stay updated on the latest AWS technologies, best practices, and industry trends to support innovation. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent advanced AWS certifications preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
