About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and pragmatic
DevOps Engineer
to join our growing engineering team. In this fully remote position, you'll play a key role in designing, managing, and evolving secure, scalable infrastructure across both modern cloud-native and legacy systems.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for everything from Kubernetes deployments to maintaining ISO 27001-compliant systems, all while collaborating closely with developers, product, and security teams.
You'll have real ownership, contribute to a high-impact roadmap, and work in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS
Deploy and manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters
Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Maintain and modernize EC2-based legacy systems
Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines
Monitor and improve system performance, availability, and observability (using tools like Datadog)
Respond to incidents and drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
Enforce ISO 27001 and security best practices across all infrastructure
Collaborate with developers to streamline product delivery and internal tooling
Participate in sprint planning, technical reviews, and architecture discussions
Requirements
5+ years' experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS)
Proficient with Terraform and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD, Linux, Bash scripting, and at least one programming language (e.g. Python or Go)
Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog
Working knowledge of cloud security principles and ISO 27001 compliance
Strong communicator with a problem-solving mindset and a passion for clean, reliable systems
Nice to Have
Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux)
Service mesh and advanced networking experience
Prior work in regulated environments or audit preparation
Internal tooling development and automation
