About the Role
An AWS Network & Security Lead is sought to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud network environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in AWS networking and security practices, with a proactive approach to risk management and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for secure AWS network architecture design and management.
• Ensure compliance with AWS security best practices and industry standards.
• Configure and maintain VPCs, subnets, routing tables, and gateways.
• Implement robust security controls including firewalls, security groups, and ACLs.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Manage identity and access policies using AWS IAM.
• Handle encryption techniques, VPN setups, and secure data transfers.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for secure deployments.
• Develop and execute incident response plans.
• Stay updated on AWS security features and emerging threats.
• Deliver recommendations for security improvements.
• Maintain organized documentation for compliance and operations.
• Offer training and guidance on AWS security practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AWS networking and security services.
• Expertise in IAM, VPC, VPN, and encryption technologies.
• Experience with security audits and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
