AWS Security Architect
Initial 6-month Contract Role
Hybrid working, twice a month in London
450 - 500, Inside IR35
We're partnering with a Global IT Provider who are seeking an AWS Security Architect to design and deliver secure AWS solutions for large-scale data centre exit and migration projects.
As an AWS Security Architect, you will be responsible for:

Design secure AWS landing zones using IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, and WAF.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
Embed and validate security controls throughout migrations.
Architect IAM policies and implement Zero Trust principles.
Automate security in CI/CD pipelines with AWS Config and IaC tools.
Manage monitoring, logging, and incident response.
Advise stakeholders on security risks and mitigation.

Responsibilities:

Previous experience in security architecture, including 5+ years in AWS cloud security,
Deep AWS security expertise and large-scale migration experience
Strong background in network security, VPC architecture, and hybrid connectivity
AWS Security Certifications are desirable
Knowledge of security automation and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
