Client: Our client is a leading technology consulting firm specializing in delivering innovative AWS cloud solutions tailored for the Travel & Hospitality industry. By leveraging deep industry knowledge and advanced cloud expertise, they help clients address complex business challenges and drive digital transformation.

Position overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solution Architect to join our team and lead the design and implementation of AWS-based solutions specifically tailored for the Travel & Hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and AWS partners to develop scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions that meet client needs, support business objectives, and drive adoption of modern cloud practices.

Responsibilities: AWS Solution Development for Travel & Hospitality: Lead the ideation, scoping, and design of AWS-based solutions tailored to the Travel & Hospitality industry, addressing client-specific challenges and opportunities; Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts using AWS services; contribute hands-on coding and technical implementation to accelerate solution development; Collaborate with AWS industry and account Solution Architects to align on architecture, delivery standards, and innovation goals; Prepare and present technical documentation for AWS Foundational Technical Reviews (FTR); lead the FTR process to ensure compliance and readiness; Promote developed solutions through joint presentations with AWS, customer engagements, and DataArt sales and marketing channels. Alliance Team & Sales Engagement: Support new sales opportunities and existing accounts by showcasing reusable solutions and technical accelerators; Act as an advisor, on a peer-to-peer level with CIO's, Head of Development, Enterprise Architects, Head of Transformation...and others; Stay informed on solutions delivered across the practice; contribute to the creation of technical case studies, reference architectures, and reusable assets based on prior engagements; Deliver workshops, presentations, and tailored engagements to educate and inspire key technical stakeholders within the Travel & Hospitality Practice; Act as a technical evangelist for AWS best practices and innovations across DataArt's sales and account teams.


Requirements: Proficient with AWS's solution portfolio, ideally at the level of 'Solution Architect Professional'. Able to guide customers on the advantages and disadvantages of 'Buy vs Build' decisions. Deep understanding of enterprise-scale SDLCs, including varying adoption and maturity levels across business units; able to coach clients and prospects accordingly. Experience with or advisory roles in Enterprise Cloud Migrations and knowledge of key roles needed to achieve successful outcomes. Familiarity with Travel and Hospitality software vendors such as Sabre, Amadeus, Payment Service Providers, and similar platforms. Understanding of contemporary business operating models, especially Product Operating Models.


Nice to have: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional). Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and others. Experience working in Travel & Hospitality domain or related industries. * Familiarity with DevOps and automation tools and practices.
