What will you be doing?

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Lead to join our DTS team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will initially manage two engineers but will be part of a very exciting growth trajectory having the opportunity to shape the team for the future.


In this role, it is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of previous on-premise setups. This knowledge will enable you to effectively integrate and transition systems to new environments, ensuring continuity and efficiency. Your expertise in on-premise configurations will be crucial in troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading legacy systems typically through M&A while aligning them with modern solutions.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Lead your responsibilities will include among others,

Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure Lead and mentor cloud engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture and ensure alignment with business objectives Manage and optimise cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have

Proven experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desired:

Team leadership/management experience Working knowledge of Zscaler In-depth knowledge of Azure firewalls SQL experience M365 administration
