Azure Data Engineer

This is a role where your technical expertise truly matters. You'll work with modern tools like

Databricks

,

Azure

, and

Delta Lake

, collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to create a trusted, scalable data ecosystem.

What You'll Do



Design, develop, and optimise ETL/ELT processes using

Databricks

Build robust data pipelines for Data Lakes and BI systems Implement best practices for data governance, security, and quality Maintain scalable data architectures and troubleshoot pipeline issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions Mentor team members and contribute to data engineering standards Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously improve processes

What You'll Need



Strong technical skills in

Databricks

, Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow Advanced

SQL

and experience migrating

SSIS to Databricks

Experience working with

IaC (Infrastructure as Code)

Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts Ability to design and manage metadata repositories Experience implementing data governance and compliance standards Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple tasks independently

Azure Data Engineer Associate certification

- desirable

This is a technical role requiring strong experience in

Azure data engineering

and

Databricks

. You'll need to demonstrate advanced SQL and IaC skills and a proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions.

First stage interviews will be week commencing 8th December on MS Teams. 2nd Stage interviews will be in person at our Westminster Bridge Road office WC 15th December.
