Duties

Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and .NET. Engage in front-end development to create user-friendly interfaces and enhance user experience. Collaborate with team members to design and implement APIs for seamless integration between systems. Utilise version control systems like Git and SVN to manage codebase effectively. Write efficient SQL queries for database management using MySQL or other relational databases. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development. Work with cloud services such as AWS and Azure to deploy applications and manage resources. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and functionality. Maintain documentation for software design, architecture, and user guides.

Experience

Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, .NET, and VBA. Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks for web development. Experience working with databases such as MySQL or SQL Server. Knowledge of version control systems including GitHub and SVN is essential. Understanding of RESTful services and APIs for application integration. Experience working in a Linux environment is advantageous.
