As
DACH Sales Manager
, you will lead Vivobarefoot's commercial growth across barefoot's commercial heartland: Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will be responsible for expanding and managing wholesale and strategic partnerships while ensuring strong alignment with Vivobarefoot's purpose, values, and long-term vision.
This role requires a balance of
commercial excellence, relationship leadership, and brand leadership
in our most important European region.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales Leadership
Own and execute the DACH wholesale sales strategy in line with global commercial objectives
Drive sustainable revenue growth through key accounts and selected new partners
Manage seasonal sell-in, forecasting, and order planning
Ensure strong sell-through performance and long-term partner profitability
Account & Partner Management
Build deep, long-lasting relationships with outdoor, sports, barefoot-specialty, traditional footwear, lifestyle, and health-focused retailers
Act as a trusted strategic partner to accounts, supporting business planning and growth initiatives
Ensure partners are fully aligned with Vivobarefoot's brand, product philosophy, and barefoot education
Market Development & Brand Representation
Act as Vivobarefoot's brand ambassador in the DACH region
Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and community activations
Identify and develop regionally relevant growth opportunities, including alternative retail concepts and community-led partnerships
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights within the barefoot and functional footwear space
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing to deliver impactful retail activations, launches, and storytelling at point of sale
Collaborate with Product and HQ teams to provide market feedback on assortment, sizing, and consumer needs
Partner with Operations and Finance to ensure smooth order execution and accurate forecasting
Report on performance, KPIs, and strategic opportunities to company leadership
What you'll need to apply:
10+ years of footwear sales experience within the outdoor, sports, or premium lifestyle space
Proven track record managing wholesale accounts in the DACH region
Strong understanding of the German-speaking retail landscape and buying patterns
Experience with purpose-driven, premium, or challenger brands is highly desirable
Skills & Competencies
Strong commercial acumen with a long-term, values-led mindset
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
Comfortable working independently in a remote, international environment
