About Duck World
Duck World is a fast-growing, internationally recognised retail and merchandise brand specialising in collectible and custom rubber ducks. With several existing sites in the UK and one in Miami Beach, USA, we are on a mission to bring fun and playful products into everyone's lives. Alongside our retail stores and e-commerce business, our B2B and custom merchandise division is a key strategic growth area, supplying bespoke ducks to clients across hospitality, corporate gifting, events, and international markets.
We manage the entire custom process in-house from concept and design through to manufacturing and global delivery and are now looking for a high-calibre individual to take full end-to-end responsibility for this channel and help scale it within a small, fast-moving company.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role with end-to-end responsibility for Duck World's B2B sales and partnerships function.
You will act as the sole operator for the B2B sales and partnerships function, operating as a team of one while working closely with the founders and wider business. The role combines commercial sales responsibility with operational delivery and requires a high level of organisation, autonomy, and accountability.
You will manage the full B2B lifecycle from inbound lead response and proactive business development through proposals, pricing, factory liaison, production, logistics, invoicing, and final delivery.
In addition, the role will occasionally support non-B2B production projects such as licensed or retail merchandise. These projects fall outside the commission structure and are covered by base salary.
This role is suited to someone who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and operating effectively within a small company environment.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Sales and Lead Management
Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound B2B enquiries
Qualify, prioritise, and nurture high-value opportunities
Proactively generate new leads including hotels, hospitality groups, corporates, events, and international clients
Confidently present Duck World's value proposition and differentiate against competitors
Convert enquiries into profitable, long-term client relationships
Pipeline, CRM and Forecasting
Maintain a clean, accurate, and actively managed sales pipeline
Track deal stages, timelines, values, and probabilities
Forecast revenue and report on pipeline health
Ensure no lead or follow-up is missed
Proposals, Pricing and Invoicing
Create tailored, on-brand proposals using Duck World templates
Clearly present custom concepts, pricing, and timelines
Ensure all client-facing materials are professional and consistent
Factory, Production and Supplier Management
Liaise directly with overseas manufacturers and production partners
Manage samples, MOQs, pricing, timelines, and quality standards
Maintain strong factory relationships and source new partners when required
Logistics and Delivery
Manage projects from design approval through to final delivery
Coordinate shipping and freight options
Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders around timelines, costs, and expectations
Support occasional non-B2B production projects such as licensed or retail merchandise
Liaise with designers and factories to deliver finished products and packaging
These projects are planned in advance to ensure B2B sales performance remains the primary focus of the role
Compensation and Commission
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week (37.5 hours including unpaid breaks), with a guaranteed base salary covering all contracted working hours.
In addition to the base salary of 24,000 per annum the role offers uncapped, profit-based commission, starting at 10% of profits generated from completed B2B deals. Commission is paid on top of base pay and is designed to increase total earnings based on individual performance.
The role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, awarded at the company's discretion and based on individual and company performance.

Required Skills and Experience
Essential
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in merchandise, manufacturing, FMCG, or custom products
Minimum of two years' experience in a relevant role
Strong organisational and project-management skills
Confident communicator with high emotional intelligence
Comfortable negotiating and persuading clients at different levels
Experience managing multiple deals simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Experience with creative design tools such as Canva
Experience working with overseas suppliers and factories (experience with China strongly preferred)
Understanding of production workflows, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and logistics
Note: This role does not require the ability to draw products from scratch. You will work with existing designs, briefs, designers, and external tools to bring concepts to life.
Highly Desirable
Experience selling custom or private-label products
Experience working with hospitality, hotels, or corporate gifting
Familiarity with international shipping and freight forwarding
Strong commercial and margin awareness
