We have an excellent opportunity for a talented, creative individual to join our established team as a B2B Senior Marketing Executive.
Within this exciting new role, the successful candidate will support the Marketing management team, and relevant business stakeholders, to help coordinate the development, design and delivery of the Savings & Retirement (S&R) Sales and Marketing plan.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis until November 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Creating, planning and delivering ongoing B2B marketing initiatives, in line with the agreed Sales & Marketing plan.
Communicating marketing activity and performance to relevant stakeholders.
Ensuring LV= are up to date with marketing trends, emerging market issues, competitor activity, and distribution dynamics in the industry.
Producing practical insights and actions to protect and develop our marketing positioning.
Taking the marketing lead on business projects, including assessing impacts on the LV= proposition position, developing content, and implementing activity as part of our wider strategic marketing plan.
Producing marketing, communications and product materials and content for use in marketing campaigns and activity for the S&R business (ensuring that all materials and content are fully compliant and free from any legal, technical, or regulatory breaches/errors).
Effectively managing key relationships with relevant internal and external parties for the purposes of implementing marketing activities and campaigns with required reputational and commercial impact.
Acting as a mentor and subject matter expert across the S&R Marketing team and external stakeholders, providing key technical expertise and advice.
Understanding new and emerging trends and developments from the marketing industry and how to apply these at LV=.
Supporting and leading (where appropriate) on the delivery of the strategic marketing plans, ensuring maximum impact and consistency with all business marketing activity and sales objectives.
Representing LV= at external marketing events where required.
About You
Our ideal candidate will... Be a proactive marketer with strong experience, ideally within the IFA or life and pensions markets.
Demonstrate the ability to identify, understand, and interpret strategic and tactical marketing opportunities.
Be self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to think laterally.
Be a team player, able to lead to others when required.
Have the ability to work in a pressured and changing environment.
Possess strong communication and relationship management skills.
Hold strong technical marketing expertise and keep up to date with emerging and future trends.
Showcase strong copywriting skills and attention to detail.
Be able to work across the 'marketing mix', writing copy for online and offline campaigns.
Be working towards, or have obtained, a recognised marketing qualification (CIM/ACIM), or equivalent.
Competently guide and influence others and provide expert technical marketing advice.
