Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging swimming lessons tailored to the needs of each participant, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Assess students' progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly to maximise their development. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant presence during lessons. Provide constructive feedback to students, fostering their confidence and skills in the water. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to promote swimming programmes and events within the community.

Experience

Previous experience in teaching swimming or coaching sports is highly desirable. A strong understanding of swimming techniques and safety protocols is essential. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages and abilities. A positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
