Baby & Parent Swimming Instructor - Part Time

Swim Central, Preston

We're excited to be expanding our team and are looking for a

Baby & Parent Swimming Instructor

to deliver fun, supportive, and engaging lessons for parents and their little ones.

Hours:

Fixed

2 hours every Saturday (08:30-10:30am)

, with opportunities to take on extra sessions if you'd like.

What we're looking for:

A qualified instructor with experience in teaching

baby and parent classes

Friendly, patient, and approachable personality Confident in creating a safe and welcoming environment for both parents and children

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate swimming lessons for babies and preschoolers Create a warm, positive learning environment that supports early water confidence and bonding Adapt lessons to meet the emotional and physical needs of young children Support parents/carers in their role during the sessions Maintain accurate attendance and progress records Ensure a high standard of safety and care at all times
Essential Criteria (one or more of the following):

Level 2 Baby and Preschool Teaching Qualification

(STA or Swim England/ASA) STA Level 2 Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming ASA/Swim England Level 2 in Teaching Swimming
