Job Description
Thomas Gray Primary School are looking to appoint a Baby Room Leader to work within the early years phase.
Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
Overseeing the daily operations of the baby room, including routines, activities, and transitions. Providing leadership, guidance, and support to other members of the baby room team through mentoring and coaching. Ensuring that all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures are followed, included in the EYFS statutory requirements. Supporting the team to plan and implement a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum. Providing high-quality care that focuses on the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of each baby. Creating a safe and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observing and assessing each baby's progress, individual needs, and adapting activities and providing interventions and care accordingly. Developing strong attachments and positive relationships with the babies in our care. Promoting healthy eating, hygiene, and robust safety practices. Building positive relationships, engaging with parents and carers and communicate regularly with parents about their baby's progress and well-being.
An EYFS Ofsted recognised qualification is essential.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 27,254.00-28,142.00 per year
