Baby Room Leader
who will be able to create environments for high quality learning and development! We are also looking for someone who can advocate for our youngest children and provide a safe, nurturing and consistent experience for our babies. The position is at our
Brand New
Forest and Farm Nursery in Herongate!
This beautiful setting will boast light and airy learning spaces and wonderful outdoor areas including an allotment, pond and our very own furry and fluffy residents!
The nursery will be overseen by an experienced and dedicated management team and you will be able to be part of our journey as we grow day by day!
Working 4 days a week 7.30am to 6.30pm 4 days a week

Key Responsibilities - Baby Room Room Leader
Be responsible as a key person for your key children
. Ensure all room planning is achieving a high level of education for the children.
Create strong parent relationships.
Delivering a range of exciting and enriching activities and experiences for the children.
Updating children's online learning journals with quality observations and routine checks.
Gaining a clear understanding of policies and procedures, statutory welfare requirements, and Ofsted expectations and requirements and ensuring these are maintained at all times.
Clear knowledge of procedures to be followed in case of emergency e.g. fire, lockdown, accident & incident procedures.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Nursery.
Ensuring that the Nursery conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted.
Upholding and ensuring a high standard of care throughout the Nursery.
Implementing and maintaining the company's Equality policy ensuring that children, parents, and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.
Monitoring any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures

We expect everyone working in or on behalf of the setting to share our commitment.
We take pride in ensuring that our robust policies and procedures are reviewed regularly and implemented consistently, by everyone, as we strive to maintain a strong safeguarding working practices and culture. Annual safeguarding training is provided to all staff and is an integral part of the setting's Continued Professional Development training. All staff, volunteers and main contractors undergo appropriate DBS checks prior to appointment.
Safer recruitment
