Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby Room Leader to oversee operations within our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and parents. As a Room Leader, you will manage daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children while fostering their development.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage staff during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organised environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development in line with educational standards. Assist in training new staff members on policies, procedures, and best practices in childcare. Monitor children's behaviour and provide appropriate interventions when necessary to ensure a positive atmosphere. Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other necessary documentation. Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of care provided within the nursery.

Qualifications

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs. Ability to demonstrate experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
