To lead and ensure the babies in our care are safe and secure and enjoy their time with us.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic leader with the knowledge and enthusiasm to learn but lead.

This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and contribute positively to children's early development. Applicants should be organised, communicative, and capable of maintaining a professional records.

Duties

Supervise and support staff during shift, ensuring high standards of childcare and safety are maintained Coordinate daily activities and routines in line with organisational policies and early childhood education principles Foster a positive environment that promotes learning, development, and well-being for children Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management regarding children's progress and any concerns Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Assist with organising activities, meal times, and nap schedules Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and professionalism Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping and reporting as required Drive organisational initiatives to improve service quality and team performance

Experience

Experience working with children, ideally within early childhood education or nursery care Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Driving licence is desirable. Knowledge of child development principles and best practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.35 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
