St Andrew's Day Nursery is a

beautiful private day nursery

located in the lovely village of

Shilton

, conveniently close to Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth and surrounding areas.

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for a

Baby Room Leader


About the Role

As Baby Room Leader, you will:

Work alongside a team of qualified, experienced staff to support the

day-to-day running of the nursery

Lead and care for children aged

0-2 years

, putting their

safety, welfare, and development first

Create a nurturing environment where babies can

flourish in their learning and development

Plan and deliver activities in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Observe children's development and keep accurate daily records Support children with

self-care, feeding, sleeping, and developing independence

Build strong, positive relationships with

parents and carers

, recognising how vital partnership working is Support and mentor nursery practitioners, apprentices, students, and volunteers Share ideas -- we actively encourage staff to bring fresh thinking and creativity to the team
All staff receive training in

Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Child Protection

, alongside in-house training, continual coaching, regular supervisions, and performance reviews to help you reach your full potential.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Have a warm, outgoing personality and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team Have

at least one year's experience

in childcare Be eligible to work in the UK Be willing to undergo an

enhanced DBS check

Be able to provide

two references

(one may be a character reference if required)
Please note: Our rural location is served by one local bus route with limited times. Applicants should consider travel arrangements carefully if they do not drive.
