Job Description

Rock a Tots West Moors is seeking a Baby room leader. The setting was recently rated Good by Ofsted and is supported by a glowing report. Admissions have gone up quickly and the setting is near full capacity. The nursery is therefore looking for qualified professionals to join the Baby Room team (0 to 24 months) on full or part-time basis.

Key roles and responsibilities of the Baby Room Leader:

Lead a team of 4 practitioners Be a 'key person' to a small group of babies (from 3 to 24 months old) and build positive relationships with their families, showing ability to report on their growth and progress Monitor babies' progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets, Plan and create activities which keep babies engaged throughout the day Enable babies to become more independent Help prepare babies for the transition into the Toddler Room (24 to 36 months) Protect and promote the health and well-being of all children Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed Promote positive relationships in the early years setting
Key Requirements:

Hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification of Level 3 (in Childcare, Early Childhood) Minimum 2 year' experience of working in a Baby Room of a nursery/early years setting Good knowledge of the EYFS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.75-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
