Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education, working with under 2's and demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. As a Baby Room Leader, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the room

Responsibilities

Supervise and support staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Manage daily activities, ensuring that all children are engaged in appropriate educational and recreational activities. Drive initiatives that promote a positive learning environment for children aged 0-5 years. Assist in the training and development of new staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, incidents, and other relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.

Experience

Level 3 or above qualification Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Experience with working with babies. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience working in a children's day nursery essential. Enhanced DBS check is required for this position

Pay: From 13.80 per hour
