We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced
Baby Room Leader
to join our team, supported by the Deputy Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early years professional to lead best practice within our baby room and support a small team of nursery practitioners and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day practice within the baby room, ensuring high-quality care and learning opportunities for children aged 0-16 months
Manage, support and inspire a team of nursery practitioners and apprentices
Work closely with the Deputy Manager to maintain outstanding standards and compliance
Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for babies to thrive
Implement and monitor EYFS planning, observations and assessments
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
Paediatric First Aid (PFA) - desirable (training can be provided)
In-depth knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Experience working with babies in a nursery setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
A calm, nurturing, and professional approach
