Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Baby Room leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with infants and toddlers in a nursery setting. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children while promoting their development through engaging activities. The Baby Room leader will work closely with parents, nursery management and colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care for babies and toddlers in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and sharing insights with parents. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children at all times. Support the emotional and social development of each child, encouraging independence and confidence. Collaborate with team members to manage daily routines efficiently while ensuring each child's needs are met. Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Experience



Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families. Leadership qualities are advantageous for guiding less experienced staff members or trainees. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
