We are looking for an experienced baby room leader join our team in our family run, private nursery based in Thames Ditton.
We open 51 weeks of the year between 7.30am - 6.00pm. We operate shift patterns and welcome applications from full time and part time applicants, up to 47.5 hours per week.
There is ample parking on the roads surrounding our nursery and we are within walking distance of Thames Ditton train station.
We require a Baby Room Leader who:
has a NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in childcare
has previous experience of running a baby room
has a genuine passion and enjoyment for working with children
has a commitment to safeguarding and will support the nursery in its high standard of safety and safeguarding - an enhanced DBS check will be required
is willing to work as part of a team
has a friendly personality with a flexible and calm approach
You will be required to:
Contribute to planning, observations, records, reports
Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and team members
Provide rich learning opportunities for our children
Ensure that welfare and learning needs are met
Actively participate in staff meetings, parents evenings, open days, training
