We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Baby Room Leader to join a nursery team. In this role, you will lead the baby room, ensuring a high standard of care, learning, and development for children aged 0-2 years.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the baby room, ensuring the highest quality of care and education.
Create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes children's development.
Observe, assess, and plan to meet each child's individual needs and interests.
Build strong partnerships with parents/carers, sharing updates on their child's progress.
Supervise, motivate, and support team members within the room.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily logs and developmental observations.
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the baby room and the wider nursery team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with babies in a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to lead and inspire others, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
Paediatric First Aid certificate (preferred but not essential).
Passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and education.
