As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained within our nursery.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children. Manage staff schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations during your shift. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns. Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education and development, fostering a love for learning among children. Support and mentor staff members, encouraging professional growth and teamwork. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised space for both children and staff. Assist in planning educational activities that cater to the diverse needs of children in your care.

Experience

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English. Experience working with children in a nursery setting is highly desirable. A passion for driving educational initiatives that enhance children's development is preferred.
