Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby Room Manager to join our team in an Outstanding childcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and a passion for early childhood education. As a Baby Room Manager, you will be responsible for leading our baby room of up to 6 babies and 5 two-year-olds, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere for children, and guiding staff in delivering high-quality childcare services.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. Manage and support staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills in childcare. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Foster a positive environment that encourages children's development through engaging activities. Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education, ensuring all children receive the attention they need to thrive. Maintain records of children's activities, attendance, and any incidents that may occur. Collaborate with management to implement improvements in service delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings is essential. Excellent communication skills in English. Level 3 Qualification in early Years is a mut AT least 2 years experience working with babies under 2. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment for children. A nurturing attitude combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
