We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Baby Room Practitioner to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and early childhood education to infants and toddlers in our nursery setting. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with young children, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to manage a safe and stimulating environment for our little ones.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and responsive care to babies, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education. Manage daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times, while ensuring hygiene standards are upheld. Observe and document children's development, sharing insights with the team for continuous improvement. Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all children in your care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Years qualification level 3 Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine love for working with children and an understanding of their developmental needs A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
