We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baby Room Practitioner Level 3 to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers, ensuring their developmental needs are met while fostering their social and emotional growth.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care for babies in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
Manage daily routines, including feeding, nappy changing, and nap times, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and supporting less experienced staff members.
Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
A Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is required.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a supportive atmosphere.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for young children.
