We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Baby Room Senior Practitioner to join our team and lead our baby room with confidence and care.

The Role:

As the Baby Room Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the baby room, ensuring a safe, loving, and engaging environment for children aged 0-2 years. You will lead a small team of practitioners, model outstanding practice, and support the learning and development of every child in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Room Leader to lead and inspire a team of baby room practitioners Plan and implement age-appropriate, stimulating activities based on the EYFS Build strong relationships with babies and their families Monitor and support children's development, keeping accurate records and assessments Ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment at all times Support the transition of babies into the nursery and as they progress through rooms Work collaboratively with the management team to uphold nursery policies and values
Requirements:

Level 3 or above in Childcare/Early Years Education (essential) Minimum 2 years' experience in a baby room or with children under 2 Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures Excellent communication and leadership skills A warm, caring, and nurturing personality with a passion for early years
