Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support to families. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with families while ensuring children's needs are met with professionalism and warmth. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is a desirable bonus. The position involves flexible hours, primarily during afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with paid employment included.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during care periods Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children as needed Assist with homework or educational activities, especially if teaching skills are applicable Maintain a clean and organised play area and children's belongings Accompany children to appointments, outings, or activities when required Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's behaviour, routines, and any concerns Drive children safely to school, activities, or other destinations when necessary Follow family-specific routines and instructions to ensure consistency in care
