Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for families in the local community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, reliable, and able to create a safe and engaging environment for children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to support families with their daily routines while fostering a nurturing atmosphere. Candidates with experience in childcare, teaching, or nannying are encouraged to apply. Bilingual skills in English and French are considered a valuable asset.

Responsibilities

Supervising and ensuring the safety of children at all times Engaging children in educational and recreational activities suitable for their age Preparing and serving meals or snacks as needed Assisting with homework or learning activities, including teaching if required Organising playdates, outings, and other social activities Assisting with bedtime routines and daily hygiene tasks Driving children to appointments, school, or extracurricular activities when necessary Communicating effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs Maintaining a clean and organised environment in the child's living area

Qualifications

Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or teaching is preferred Valid driving licence and clean driving record is advantageous Fluent in English; proficiency in French is desirable but not essential Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development Excellent organisational skills and reliability Ability to adapt to different children's needs and routines Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with parents and children Responsible, patient, and nurturing demeanour Own car essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 15 per week
