Founded in 2008, You Me Sushi has been winning the hearts of Londoners thanks to our varying menu concept that is a perfectly combined with a fresh and unique approach to Japanese cuisine.

From our first sushi takeaway store in London's Marylebone district, YouMeSushi has gone from strength to strength serving fresh, delicious, and handmade sushi every day. Due to expansion of the business, we are looking for a Kitchen Team member for our store in our new store in Brixton.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for hard working Kitchen Team Members or Chefs, ready to join our growing family. You will need to be passionate about food and customer service and a great team player. We are looking for someone organised who can work well under pressure. Lack of experience is not an issue, as long as you are willing to roll up your sleeves and learn. Great sense of humour and good energy is also a key!

You will need to be flexible as this role requires working weekends and late evenings.

The right person must have:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Be able to follow recipes and create dishes according to specification.

Familiar with Health & Safety standards and Food Hygiene

Familiar with day-to day duties including food preparation, operating fryers, monitoring cooking processes, assembling dishes, cleaning etc.

Able to maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Able to work within a team, as well as independently.
