Job Overview

We're looking for a skilled

Backend Developer

to build and maintain the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our fintech and financial education platforms. You'll work closely with frontend, blockchain, and AI teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimise server-side applications and databases. Design and implement APIs to support web and mobile applications. Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems. Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing backend code. Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and best practices. Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and development standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby. Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and data modelling. Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of security best practices in backend development. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience in fintech or SaaS projects is a plus.
