Spinnr Tech is hiring on behalf of one of our group-backed game technology projects.
We're a fast-growing engineering team building scalable backend systems to power real-time online games--covering slot, board, and blockchain-integrated experiences. Our services process millions of API requests daily with a focus on reliability, performance, and smart data flow.

We are looking for a backend engineer to join our London-based game server development team. The ideal candidate has solid backend experience and is excited about building low-latency, high-concurrency systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Design and implement real-time game server systems for slot, board, and blockchain games Build backend game logic modules and support multiplayer session handling Develop and maintain APIs to support client integration and third-party services Implement fairness verification and contribute to anti-cheating and system security Work with DevOps to support CI/CD, performance tuning, and error monitoring Collaborate with product, frontend, and QA teams across the development lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of backend development experience with production-level systems Proficient in

Golang

, Java, or C++ (Golang preferred) Familiar with

PostgreSQL

,

MySQL

, and

SQL query optimization

Experience working in

Linux environments

with tools like Git, Docker Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration practices Fluent in

Mandarin

(spoken and written); professional English required Demonstrated participation in full-cycle backend projects (not only partial involvement)

Nice to Have

Game server development experience Knowledge of blockchain game design or smart contract logic Experience with distributed architecture (CAP, BASE, microservices) Familiarity with fairness verification, security checks, or multiplayer anti-fraud Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing tools Experience in large-scale or high-concurrency systems
