Crocadon is an exciting project based on a regenerative farm in St Mellion, Saltash.
All of our ingredients are from an organic or regenerative source.
We are looking for a hardworking and talented Baker to join our team. Your role as Baker will be to assist our Head Baker/Pastry Chef in our on site bakery and pastry kitchen. Our products change with the seasons and are based on what we have available on the farm at that moment. Our bakery produces a slow fermented sourdough loaf, croissants, seasonal pastries, cookies, cakes and puff pastry items. You will gain valuable skills in these areas whilst helping push our offering forward. Experience as a baker is essential, experience in pastry is desirable.
The farm feeds our restaurant and bakery, working beyond organic standards and with soil health as the highest priority. Our market garden grows some of the best produce you will taste. We have our own flock of sheep that we graze rotationally to manage and improve our pastures.
Our restaurant has a Michelin star and a Michelin green star for sustainability. Our cafe and bakery also have a great reputation and we operate with the same level of standards across all of our operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but dedicated team with serious ambitions of growth. We are looking for someone to come and support the current team whilst bringing their own experience and creativity.
