Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm

This is a temporary 6/7 month position starting from ASAP until end of April.. there is a very high chance it will become a permanent role for the right person as the business is ever growing & getting busier every month!

The Vegan Bakes is a vegan bakery based in Alton, Hampshire. We specialise in sending out 100's of delicious vegan brownies and sweet treats by post every week. We also offer wholesale and supply brownies to cafes all over the UK. We pride ourselves in having a passion for quality products and providing great service.

We're looking for someone to join our small team, who can work in a fast paced environment with a can do attitude and a passion for creating high quality products.

Main duties will include:
- Planning, preparing, mixing, baking & decorating our bakes
- Help with packing, cutting bakes, writing labels, packaging orders
- Cleaning equipment, washing up and maintaining a clean work environment
- Adhere to Food Hygiene & Safety standards
- Ordering ingredients, packaging supplies and maintaining good stock rotation
- Be involved with social media content
- Develop new brownie flavours and other products
- Keep the kitchen and stock organised and clean

The successful candidate will be organised, motivated, hard working & work well as part of a team. Must have good attention to detail & be able to follow recipes. Must work well in a fast paced environment & be able to carry out repetitive tasks. Must have excellent verbal communication skills & the ability to use your initiative.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
