We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced and energetic Pastry Chef/Cake Baker who has a natural eye for fine detail and a love for baking, flavours, decorating & confectionery to a very high standard.

Our homely cake shop in the heart of Victoria Park, Cardiff, offers hand-crafted stylish buttercream cakes for any occasion. Day to day, we also offer fresh macarons and other sweet treats as perfect additions.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Let Them See Cake is a family owned business built on a love and passion for our craft, and we believe that a team that loves what they do is able to create magic and something special. We are looking for a Pastry Chef/Baker who identifies with the Let Them See Cake ethos and style, and will translate this through their work ethic, high standards and values. We are a small, close-knit team and we are looking for a positive, approachable personality with team spirit, can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism and diligence.

WE OFFER:

The ideal candidate must:

Be dedicated to knowing our brand and product Ensure the products leaving our production are of the highest standard and quality Conduct themselves in a professional manner, even in stressful situations Be able to handle a high volume of orders coming in every day Be a team player - respectful and friendly to other team members Be willing to learn and work hard Have excellent spoken and written communication skills Have experience in cake decorating (buttercream cakes, cupcakes, macarons, cookies etc) Maintain and adhere to 5 star food hygiene standards (up to date level 2 food safety qualification desirable)

Pay: 25,000.00-26,000.00 per year
