We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our bakery team In our dessert bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background of baking. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality desserts to our customers while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of desserts according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food production and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food output.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new desserts
Uphold all food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation of food items.
Skills
Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen environment or home bakery
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Previous experience is highly desirable, showcasing an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of food quality.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
The ability to manage time efficiently is essential

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
