Bliss House Cafe is a local independent cafe and bakery. We bake fresh pastries, breads, and savoury items every day and serve our community high-quality food and coffee.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable and skilled
Baker
to join our team. You'll prepare and bake a range of items - from pastries (cinnamon buns, cardamom buns, brioche) to breads and savoury bakes (focaccia, manakish).Main Duties
Bake pastries, breads, and savoury items to a high standard Follow recipes and cafe guidelines for consistency Work to daily production plans and manage time well Keep the bakery clean and safe (hygiene and food safety) Check stock of ingredients and report shortages Work as part of the cafe team
What We're Looking For
Previous bakery or pastry experience Good knowledge of dough and baking techniques Reliable, organised, and able to work early mornings Attention to detail and pride in your work Food hygiene awareness
