Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and a flair for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of novelty Mini cakes and desserts while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in food production.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and communicate needs to management. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely production and service of baked goods. Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Experience

Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards. Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment used in food production. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. A passion for cooking and creating innovative baked products is essential.
