Keptie Bakery - We are a small multi award winning family bakery with 3 shops throughout Angus. Our head office and bakehouse is based in Letham and our other shops can be found in Arbroath and Brechin.
We also supply many local cafes, bistros, newsagents and even castles throughout Angus. We buy quality ingredients and use traditional methods. We are massive supporters of shopping local and practice what we preach, we buy local where we can. Angus has so much to offer with many great local suppliers.

We are recruiting for multiple positions within our bakery team working from our head office in Letham, Angus.
Experience preferred however we will consider an Apprenticeship for the right candidate. A passion for baking with a keen eye for detail is a must. Full training provided.
Wages dependant on relevant experience.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Baker or Apprentice Baker to join our team. The role involves hands-on preparation, baking, and finishing a variety of bakery products, as well as general kitchen duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a professional bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
:
Assisting with the preparation and baking of breads, rolls, scones, and pastries.
Helping with the making and cutting out of biscuits and other sweet products.
Supporting the production of break work and other daily bakery items.
Packing and presenting finished products for sale.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment.
Following recipes, portion sizes, and production schedules accurately.
Learning new techniques and processes under the guidance of experienced bakers.
Requirements:
A keen interest in baking and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Physical stamina for long periods of standing and lifting.
