Pastry Commis Chef - Baker

As a Pastry Commis Chef - Baker, you will support the team in creating high-quality baked goods and pastry items while maintaining exceptional standards in hygiene, preparation, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, viennoiserie, and other pastry items. Support Chef de Parties, Demi Chefs, and fellow Commis Chefs in daily production. Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe kitchen environment. Follow mise-en-place procedures, portion control, and stock rotation best practices. Uphold high culinary and presentation standards at all times.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a professional pastry or bakery kitchen is preferred. Passionate about baking, pastry arts, and working with premium ingredients. A team player who is eager to learn, take direction, and grow within the kitchen. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence. Experience in luxury or fine-dining environments is desirable but not essential.
