Join Our Team at Melting Moments Home Bakery!

We're looking for multiple Bakery Assistants to help us create and share our delicious homemade treats with stores throughout the region. We have opportunities for people interested in both production work and creative finishing.

You'll be part of bringing our recipes to life by preparing doughs, batters and fillings for cookies, pastries and custom cakes. You'll learn to operate bakery equipment with our team and assist with the baking process while maintaining our standards. Some assistants focus more on the production side including handling ingredients and supplies, which may involve heavy lifting, loading delivery vehicles and keeping workspaces clean.

Other roles concentrate on the creative finishing touches like decorating cakes, cookies and pastries, then packaging our products professionally. This includes accurate labeling, quality checking and preparing orders for delivery while maintaining organized finishing areas.

What We Need

A genuine interest in baking, ability to work efficiently in our busy environment, and physical capability for the demands of bakery work. This is a 6am start with 30-35 hours per week. Food hygiene awareness is helpful and we'll provide full training.

Previous bakery experience is great but not essential - we welcome beginners and will provide comprehensive training. Trials are welcome so you can see if we're the right fit for each other.
