Duties

Requirements

, everything is made in small batches, by hand, using seasonal and authentic ingredients.
As a micro bakery, we'll be working lean - a small team, a few ovens, lots of creativity - but with big ambitions to grow into a brand recognised for flavour and craftsmanship.
Role Overview
We're looking for a skilled, passionate
Artisan Baker
to join us at the very beginning. This role is ideal for someone who loves
hands-on baking
in small batches, thrives in a close-knit team, and is excited to help shape a bakery from scratch.
You'll be responsible for mixing, shaping, baking, and creating daily breads and pastries while maintaining quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Produce small-batch artisan breads, pastries, and sweet bakes with Indian flavour influences.
Maintain sourdough starters and fermentation schedules.
Prepare and bake daily products in limited-production ovens.
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures (HACCP compliance).
Assist with daily prep, packaging, and counter/display setup.
Support testing of new recipes and seasonal specials.
Work early mornings and adapt to the micro bakery rhythm.
Interact with local customers (farmers markets, cafe counter) where needed.
What We're Looking For
Hands-on artisan baking experience (at least 1-2 years preferred).
Confidence with sourdoughs, enriched doughs, and laminated pastry is a plus.
Creativity and interest in
Indian flavours and fusion baking

Comfortable working in a
small team
and doing a bit of everything.
Reliable, early riser, with good organisational skills.
Food Safety certificate (Level 2+) desirable.
